I recently had the pleasure of dining there for the first time, and by the end of the evening, I found myself already planning a return visit. Whether it’s date night, a client dinner, or a personal indulgence, Blu offers an experience that’s both upscale and welcoming.

Located just off Avenue Road, Blu Ristorante is known for its warm lighting, live music on select nights, and intimate layout that makes even a busy evening feel personal.
The décor is tastefully modern with hints of old-world charm — think soft jazz, velvet seating, and wine shelves that spark curiosity.

It’s stylish but never cold. It sets the stage perfectly for a dinner you want to remember.

The Food: Elevated Italian That Never Overcomplicates

The menu at Blu Ristorante is tight, seasonal, and built around quality ingredients and classic Italian technique. Everything we tried was beautifully presented and deeply satisfying — not just in taste, but in texture, balance, and portion size.

🍷 My Personal Recommendations:

• Carpaccio di Manzo — A great way to start. Thin, tender beef with truffle aioli, shaved Parmigiano, and arugula. Light but flavorful.

• Risotto ai Funghi — Creamy, rich, and deeply aromatic with truffle oil and wild mushrooms. Cooked to perfect al dente.

• Branzino alla Griglia — Grilled Mediterranean sea bass with lemon caper butter and seasonal vegetables. Simple, fresh, and beautifully executed.

• Tiramisu Blu — Their house twist on the classic. Light mascarpone, just the right sweetness, and excellent espresso flavor.

The wine list is extensive but approachable, with knowledgeable servers ready to help you pair based on your preferences. Our server’s Barbera d’Asti suggestion with the risotto was spot on.

Service: Attentive and Thoughtful

At Blu, service strikes a rare balance — polite, professional, and genuinely warm.
Courses arrived with just the right pacing, our server explained specials without overselling, and small touches (like offering a blanket on the patio or letting us linger over dessert) made the experience feel tailored, not transactional.
